Dreaming of studying in Italy? Here are the documents you will need!

Have you ever dreamed of living in Italy, studying within the historic walls of a centuries-old university, walking among artistic masterpieces after class, or simply learning a language that sounds like music to the ears?

If the answer is yes, then you're in the right place. Studying at university in Italy is not just an academic opportunity: it's an adventure that can change your life.

A dream within reach

Every year, thousands of international students choose Italy for the quality of its university programs, its welcoming culture, and its unique lifestyle. But to make this dream a reality, a bit of preparation is needed: documents, visas, and—above all—a good command of the Italian language.

The required documents: where to start

To enroll in an Italian university as an international student, you will need to:

  1. Complete your pre-enrollment on the Universitaly portal, selecting the university and course you wish to attend.
  2. Submit your academic qualifications (diploma or degree) with an official translation into Italian and the Dichiarazione di Valore, which must be requested from the Italian Consulate in your country.
  3. Obtain the acceptance letter from the university.
  4. Apply for a study visa (type D) at the Italian Consulate.
  5. Once in Italy, apply for a tax code and a residence permit.

All of this may seem complex, but you are not alone. At Scuola Leonardo da Vinci, we guide you step by step.
