Choose your favorite event from those scheduled
The Turin Book Fair, the largest publishing event that has taken place every year in Turin since 1988, features a full calendar of events. Take the time to choose an event that interests you. Our advice is to take part in at least one event to have a new experience even if your Italian is not yet at mother-tongue level. It will still be a once-in-a-lifetime experience!
The main theme of this year’s Fair is "The world saved by children", inspired by the book with this title by Elsa Morante, one of the most important female writers of the Italian post-war period. This is intended to be "a message of hope and openness to youth, in which storytelling and reading become tools for understanding the present and imagining the future" – reports the famous newspaper La Repubblica.
