A nice surprise greeted the students who arrived in January in our new Turin school: colorful classrooms and common areas, shining with the city's iconic images painted in urban style.
This project resulted from a collaboration with the Milanese association We Run the Streets, which previously contributed to the renovation of the Scuola Leonardo in Milan.
The association is a collective of well-known young artists in Italy and abroad. Its aim is to promote urban culture, especially street art and graffiti, the redevelopment of so-called “difficult” areas, and cultural initiatives aimed at encouraging the development of diverse and sustainable tourism models.
The association has also been the driving force behind the extraordinary Urban Giants graffiti festival which, every year since 2018, has brought to Milan about 200 creative artists from every corner of the world.
We met with Prosa Bang, president of We Run the Streets, and shared our belief that street art is steadily increasing its importance as a channel of communication, meeting, and sharing. This is how we came up with the idea to decorate the walls of our school (located in a historic building in the city center!) to tell the story of Turin and its surroundings in a direct and emotionally engaging way.
Are you intrigued? We look forward to welcoming you to Turin to learn Italian and admire the beautiful murals that liven up the walls of our new school!

The welcoming friendly atmosphere of our school will make you feel at home and you can relax with your classmates in the small gardens of the adjacent pedestrian area.
