Have you ever thought that learning a language could also help make the world a better place? At the Leonardo da Vinci School in Milan, it’s possible thanks to our Italian + Volunteering program: a unique experience that combines learning Italian with volunteering activities around the city.
One course, many experiences
With 4 Italian lessons a day, Monday to Friday, you’ll learn the language in an international and dynamic environment. Our classes follow a communicative approach, so you really learn to use Italian in everyday life.
But that’s not all: 2 or more times a week you’ll put your Italian into practice outside the classroom, helping those in need and supporting environmental and social causes. It’s the perfect way to learn by doing, meet new people, experience Italian culture up close, and make a positive impact.
Where does the volunteering take place?
We work with local organizations making a real difference every day:
RECUP: fighting food waste in city markets
Plastic Free: organizing waste collection and raising environmental awareness
Coach di Quartiere: promoting sports activities for children and youth in vulnerable areas
Compagnia della Polenta: preparing and distributing meals to people in difficulty
We Are Urban Milano: working on urban renewal and active citizenship
Each student can choose the project that best matches their interests and values.

How long does the course last?
It’s up to you! You can choose to enjoy this experience for just one month or stay with us for up to a whole year. To join, you just need an A2 level in Italian, enough to follow the classes and fully enjoy the volunteering experience.
