Preparation courses for studying at University in Italy

This summer from August 1st to August 26th, join students from around the world on our University Preparation Course. For years, Scuola Leonardo Florence, Milan, Rome have been organizing courses specifically created to give all the necessary knowledge to students who want to study at university in Italy. These courses are taught in Italian by experienced faculty qualified in their area of study.

Who is the preparation course suitable for?
Our university preparation courses are specially designed for students who intend to attend university in Italy. Some Italian universities require students to take an entrance exam in order to be accepted into a specific program/major (for example the faculties of medicine and architecture). Whether or not an exam is required for matriculation, our course prepares students for success throughout their degree’s curriculum.

What are the topics covered?
By dealing with critical thinking and general cultural themes and specific knowledge in each university course the program prepares students for all the knowledge necessary to tackle the selected academic path.
During the course, students will be guided to improve their approach to academic writing, research and discussion, all key skills for academic study.
Students will also have the opportunity to explore and stimulate their interests in a wide range of topics and activities.

Are there any specific preparation courses for the faculties with the entrance exam?
Yes, Scuola Leonardo da Vinci organizes specific courses for the faculties of Architecture, Medicine and Fashion & Design. The aim of these courses is to help students develop the skills and understanding that are required to attend lessons and facilitate them to pass the entrance exam.

Price: € 1495 + € 70 for the registration fee

What level of Italian is required by Italian universities?
Italian universities require a minimum level B1-B2 of knowledge of the Italian language. At the Scuola Leonardo da Vinci students can obtain the required level with the numerous courses on offer. Depending on their starting level, students may aim to acquire a basic knowledge of the Italian language or enhance and perfect their previous knowledge of the language.
