Are you ready for the Eurovision Song Contest in Turin?

The event of the year finally arrives in Turin: the Eurovision Song Contest.

Italy hosts the largest international singing competition, thanks to the victory of the Italian group Måneskin in the 2021 edition in Rotterdam. The presenter will be Laura Pausini, Alessandro Cattelan and Mika. Turin expects 40 artists, including individuals and groups, who come from various European countries and Australia.

The rehearsals of the artists and the soundchecks have begun on May 4th, while on May 8th, in the magnificent setting of the Reggia di Venaria, there will be the delegation parade and the inaugural gala evening.

The competition starts from 10 to 14 May: on May 14th the Big Five (Italy, France, Germany, Spain and the United Kingdom), who have direct access to the final, will compete for the victory with the winners of the two semifinals (to be held on May 10th and 12th).

The singing event will be held at the Pala Alpitour (near Piazza d’Armi), which for the occasion will be called Pala Olimpico.

In the meantime, 17,000 people will attend the event free of charge on the 3 big screens of the Eurovillage, set up at the Parco del Valentino: every day, during the second week of May, from 5 pm, over 200 artists will alternate in 40 hours of a live show.

The whole city of Turin celebrates: there will be concerts in different places. Absolutely not to be missed is the Torino Calling Day (May 11th), which will involve numerous Turin artists who, supported by national and international stars, will present original productions and unpublished collaborations.

For those who do not have the privilege to be in Turin on these dates, the evenings of the semi-finals and the grand final will be broadcast on Rai 1 (and on RaiPlay: https://www.raiplay.it/).

Siete pronti per l’Eurovision Song Contest a Torino?

Finalmente arriva a Torino l’evento dell’anno: l’Eurovision Song Contest.

Grazie alla vittoria dei Måneskin nella passata edizione a Rotterdam, è passata all’Italia la palla della gestione della più grande competizione canora internazionale. Saranno padroni di casa Laura Pausini, Alessandro Cattelan e Mika. Torino aspetta 40 artisti, fra singoli e gruppi, che arrivano da diversi Paesi europei e dall’Australia.

Il 4 maggio inizieranno le prove degli artisti e i soundcheck, mentre l’8 maggio, nella magnifica cornice della Reggia di Venaria, si terrà la sfilata delle delegazioni e la serata di gala inaugurale.

Dal 10 al 14 maggio si entra nel vivo della competizione: il 14 maggio per la finalissima saranno in lizza i Big Five (Italia, Francia, Germania, Spagna e Regno Unito), che hanno accesso diretto alla finale e che si contenderanno la vittoria con i vincitori delle due semifinali (che si terranno il 10 e il 12 maggio).

La manifestazione canora si terrà al Pala Alpitour (vicino a Piazza d’Armi), che per l’occasione prenderà il nome di Pala Olimpico.

Nel frattempo, 17 mila persone potranno assistere gratuitamente all’evento sui 3 maxischermi dell’Eurovillage, allestito presso il Parco del Valentino: ogni giorno, durante la seconda settimana di maggio, dalle ore 17 si alterneranno in 40 ore di show oltre 200 artisti live.

Tutta Torino sarà in festa perché saranno organizzati in città concerti diffusi in diversi locali. Assolutamente da non perdere il Torino Calling Day (11 maggio), che vedrà coinvolti numerosi artisti torinesi che, affiancati da star nazionali e internazionali, presenteranno produzioni originali e collaborazioni inedite.
