The antique street market along the Navigli is for sure the most important street market of its kind in Milan, but what makes this market unique is the charming atmosphere created by the Navigli.
Run by Associazione Naviglio Grande, it develops itself for two km between the Naviglio Grande and the Naviglio Pavese, with over 400 selected stalls, and it will take place the last Sunday of every month, until 21st December 2008.
Thousands of international visitors crowd the streets along the charming Navigli. You can find a wide selection of high-quality objects that can satisfy everyone’s taste: furniture, clocks, radios, jewellery, pottery, silverware, ethnic objects, toys, prints, books and comics, and much more.
During the event, you could also visit the handcraft workshops, the art ateliers and the several restaurants which in this period are open to the public to make the day even more rich and peculiar.
We heartily suggest you to take a look to this striking street market because here you will surely find a qualified organization of the market traders, a wide selection of objects, and high-quality products.
In addition, why not to visit the famous and historic narrow street “Vicolo dei Lavandai” and the enchanting courtyards? There is also the opportunity to have a boat trip!
