The Puccini Festival

For Opera lovers every year there is an unmissable event:
The Puccini festival! Dedicated to the Viareggio composer Giacomo Puccini.

The festival is held in Torre del Lago Puccini, on the shores of Lake Massaciuccoli, close to Villa Puccini, where the composer lived for many years and where the composer's remains are kept.

Every year the festival organizes shows with great opera stars, important conductors and directors, and extraordinary productions.
Puccini's operas are staged in a large open-air theater, the "Gran Teatro all'Aperto Giacomo Puccini" with 3200 seats.
